SPRINGS BULLDOGGES
Home to Colorado's GENUINE Olde English Bulldogges

Our booth at the "Bark At Briargate" Pet Fair on August 21st was a huge success.  We had alot fo great people asking great questions about the breed.  If you would like to get on a waiting list for one of our puppies, our next breeding is anticipated for the Spring 2011.  All of our puppies from the 5/6/10 litter have been placed in wonderful new homes.
Please email with any questions about our dogs, or our spring time breeding.

Welcome to Springs Bulldogges.

We have the only AUTHENTIC breeding Olde English Bulldogges and puppies in Colorado.  Our dogs are all pedigreed back to the original stock dogs, and are registered with the UKC's CDHPR registry through the OEBKC.  We are NOT associated in any way the the larger body of unrelated dogs from Breeders who claim to have OEBs.  Ours are the GENUINE Olde English Bulldogge Breed.

We are planning on our next beeding between Sugar and Boomer sometime in the spring, 2011.  Email us if you would like information or would like to get on a list for that litter.

Boomer participated in the UKC Premier in 2009 after the Parent Kennel Club, the Olde English Bulldogge Kennel Club (www.oebkc.com), was invited to participate in the first Specialty Conformation show for this rare breed.  Boomer won three awards: "Best of Class", "Best of Males", and "Best of Specialty"!

It was three years ago that I first started looking for my ideal Bully Breed. I did extensive research through books, the internet, and personal phone calls. I was seeking a dog with a good temperment, good with children, and healthy throughout their lifetime. After I found out that the true, original Olde English Bulldogge breed was available through the OEBKC registries, I flew across the country from Colorado to Massachusetts and met several breeders and multiple dogs. Later, after deciding to purchase an Olde English Bulldogge, I traveled to Connecticut to bring home Boomer. I have been in love with this breed ever since.

My goal was to find a healthy, medium sized Bully Breed which would be a good companion for my children, small enough to be a house dog, but large enough to provide protection if needed for my family. I found all that, plus the most charming personality in the Olde English Bulldogge (OEB).

There are numerous alternative bulldog breeders in the United States who have described their dogs as OEBs without any pedigree to the original stock; unfortunately, this has caused misinformation about the actual, true Olde English Bulldogge Breed. My hope with the Olde English Bulldogge's recent recognition through the CDHPR, and subsequent United Kennel Club acceptance, is that the Olde English Bulldogge will be more widely recognized as the purebred BREED that it is, and not just a catch-all phrase for alternative bulldog hybrids.

I invite you to get involved in any way that you can to help promote with education, breeding, showing, or any activities which will help bring about a healthy future for this wonderful breed.

If you were to tell me back then that I would soon be the President of the parent club for this breed, and eventually have my own kennel, I would not have believed you.  My dogs are part of the family, and we have a wonderful network of supportive family and friends who have become "fans" of this unique breed.  Feel free to contact me with any questions or go to http://www.oebkc.com/ for more information.
