Here are some helpful facts about Olde English Bulldogges:
1. They are healthier than other bulldog breeds because they have been bred to eliminate many of the common problems of English Bulldogs, such as arthritis, hip problems, knee problems and breathing problems.
2. They are usually between fifty five and eighty pounds, with females tending to be at the smaller end of the standard. Click here for the official standard

3. They are naturally protective, with an instinct to protect their owners and their owners' families. They are keenly aware of their surroundings, of strangers or unfamiliar people, yet are confident, alert, and active dogs.
4. They are easy to train and willingly follow standard commands. We recommend that puppy training begin at approximately 10 weeks of age, so that they learn manners and the expectations of the owner, both inside and outside the house.
5. When properly socialized, they are affectionate and friendly with other dogs and animals. Most importantly, they are very good with children of all ages.
6. They can be as active and athletic as you'd like, or can be perfectly content relaxing with the family around the house.
7. Although generally more tolerant to heat and cold than other bulldog breeds, they are NOT to be left outside for prolonged timeframes, especially in temperature extremes.
